NSPM concert with the Whitman String Quartet, Sept. 29th, 2019, 5:00pm at LIM
The new season of the North Shore Pro Musica will begin on Sunday, September 29th, 2019, 5:00 pm, at the Long Island Museum in the Gillespie Room, 1200 Route 25A, Stony Brook, NY 11790. Featured on the program will be the Mozart String Quartet No. 1 in G Major, K.80/73f, The Bax Oboe Quintet and the Borodin String Quartet No. 2in D Major. The performers include Terry Keevil, oboe and the dynamic Whitman String Quartet whose members are Anna Tsukervanik and Joenne Dumitrascu, violins, Stephen Gorgone, Viola and Eric Adamshick, cello. Tickets are $20.00 at the door.
Duo Concert with Paolo Bartolani, Sept. 16, 2018, 2:00 pm, Unitarian Church in Stony Brook
Le Petit Salon de Musique will open it’s ninth season with myself and the masterful pianist Paolo Bartolani performing pieces by J.S. Bach, Bejamin Britten, Robert Schumann and Richard Faith. I will also perform a piece on the duduk. The concert will take place at the Unitarian Church in Stony Brook at 380 Nicholls Road, this Sunday, September 16th, 2018, at 2:00 pm
Special Chamber Music Concert in New York City
I’ll be performing in a special chamber music concert at the Kosciuszko Foundation House, 15 East 65th St., New York City this Thursday evening, June 14th, 2018, at 7:00 pm. The group includes Carina Canonico, clarinet, Phuc Phan, cello and Hsin Chiao, piano, as well as myself on oboe. Featured on the program will be the beautiful, evocative quartet, “After Scheherazade” by Murray Cohen.
Charlie Parker With Strings – The Jazz Loft – Friday, June, 23rd & Sat., June 24th, 2017, 7:00 pm
I’ll be playing oboe and English horn with an excellent band led by Tom Manuel on trumpet, who owns The Jazz Loft in Stony Brook Village. Music from the legendary album “Charlie Parker With Strings” will be on the program.
